When I started driving on my own, I can still hear my instructor's voice as if he's beside me...coaching me what to do next.
I still have fears though specially if driving uphill. I can still remember when I needed to go to Tsuneishi (Balamban) for a client's signature. Thankfully, I have a friend who knows how to get there as I was afraid to drive to an unfamiliar road. And he told me that I should not be afraid since my car is new. As time goes, I learned to tame my fears...develop techniques para d mapag-ngan when I need to stop while on an uphill. Just like in selling, we should put to heart what our mentors have shared to us....the tips and techniques. There will be times that we're afraid to deal with clients that we barely know...but if we were able to attend seminars or has reviewed the details of the project(s) then we shouldn't be afraid. Time will tell and we should be able to develop our own closing techniques and manage inquiries. So I guess going up shouldn't be so scary after all. #LumpingBumper #NabundolNiDoc #DugayNaNiNaPic

I have been part of 2 mangrove planting activities before. First in Olanggo and the other is in Aloguinsan. Both gave me unforgettable embarrassing moments. 1st: half of my body was submerged. Even my bag got wet. 2nd: Because it was very muddy in the planting site, the sole of my rubber shoes was torn off. Thank God I bought slippers or else, I would be going home barefoot. Lesson#1: Don't compare yourself with other people. "Ang taga tuhod sa uban taga hawak nimo." Lesson#2: Go with the food committee. They don't get themselves dirty or wet. *ctto on the picture Note: This article was originally published on my "work Facebook account" on August 28, 2020.
For quite sometime, this has been a favorite design from clients. I can't recall how many invitations I made with this design. Since every couple are different, I make sure to make the design a little different from the other.
I love putting together at least 2 different colors in different sizes of ribbons with 3 rose buds. In commemoration of Papa's first death anniversary, I'm publishing a Facebook post I made last year (May 30, 2021).
Whenever people ask me why I got myself a memorial plan and a memorial lot about 15yrs ago, I always answer them that its better to prepare ahead. So that when the time comes...when somebody dies in the family, all I have to do is to cry in sorrow. Papa just died today. No more crying in pain every night...calling our names in the middle of the night 'til dawn....hoping for somebody to hear his cries for help...to massage his aching limbs....or to get his blood pressure....as if it'll erase the pain he is suffering. Pa, you can rest now. I love you. 9 years ago, the previous company I was in assigned me in our Main office in Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City.
A month before starting my first assignment, I was already looking for a place to stay. I only have 2 criterias: affordable and walking distance siince its traffic in QC and I have no intention bringing my car from Cebu. So I ended up renting a bed space at Olympic Heights 2 Condominium. (Picture below is corner of the bldg where Buffet 101 is located). The unit can accommodate 10 tenants. There were 5 rooms: 2 single room, 2 rooms good for 2 (double deck), and 1 good for 4 persons (2 double deckers w/ own bathroom). Rent is at P5,000.00 per head. That's excluding electricity and water. It also has a kitchen, a common toilet & bathroom and a living room. Wifi is free. With the rent alone, the unit owner already has P50,000.00. That alone can already payoff the monthly amortization. The unit also has a backdoor that has access to the swimming pool. Unfortunately, I didn"t have time to even take a look. Busy ang life sa work. Infront of the bldg is a mall. But I usually passby The House of Wagyu which serves steak at 3k (igo ra jud kos google ani kay pirti kamahal sa ila food). 5k rent + convenience = worth it ra pud (for me) *ctto. picture not mine. It will change your life (at least, the way you react to situations) The 90/10 principle is incredible! Very few know and apply this principle.
The Result? Millions of people are suffering undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. They never seem to be a success in life. Bad days follow bad days. Terrible things seem to be constantly happening. There is constant stress, lack of joy, and broken relationships. Worry consumes time, anger breaks friendships, and life seems dreary and is not enjoyed to the fullest. Friends are lost. Life is a bore and often seems cruel. Does this describe you? A kid was asking his dad how much he earns in an hour. His Dad said P40.00. Then the kid went back to his room.
After 10mins, the kid went to his dad again and ask for P20.00. His dad told him to go back to his room coz he's still tired from work. And so the kid went back to his room. Again, after 10mins, the kid went to his father again to ask for P20.00. He even told him that he will just borrow the P20.00 if the dad won't give him the P20.00 that he needed. But the dad shut him away and told the kid to go back to his room. I just woke up when I read a private message on Facebook. Whether somebody recommended her to me or that she found my page on Facebook, I couldn't actually recall. I was just excited that somebody I don't really know personally, found my page and wants to order a debut invitation for her daughter. We went to to meet at SMCity Cebu. She was with her daughter. They were really nice. I actually thought that the debutant will be hard to please but I was wrong. She was brought up wonderfully and very respectful. Very down to earth. My parents celebrated their Silver Anniversary in 1995. They got married on June 14, 1970 Mama and I prepared emergency sewing kits for the guests. Its actually simple and anybody can do it.
